(a) The year's expenses increased considerably, firstly by the heavy cost of sending our surplus copies of Hukm's History to India and secondly, by the enormous amount of correspondences etc. following our loss of Hukm and subsequent reorganisation.

(b) We have again been very fortunate in having generous donations to our Funds which have kept us solvent with a good working balance.

(c) Comments have been made that our basic annual subscription is very low, but your Committee feels that before making an overall increase, and until we are in dire straits, we can rely on our Members to add a little extra if they so wish; mind you that would be very welcome!
